I called the Geffen Playhouse box office because I needed help with my tickets and the person I spoke with was really nice and patient.
It did take a little while to get through but once someone picked up they walked me through the seat options and helped me switch my date without making it feel like a hassle.
I’m only taking off one star because the hold time was kind of long. Other than that it was an easy friendly experience.

I left feeling disappointed, honestly. The acting felt a bit forced, and the pacing was all over the place. At some point I just kept thinking, why does this have to be so complicated? Overall, it didn’t really click for me.

I found it annoying to get there, especially since the parking situation was confusing. If you’re relying on transit or planning to walk, it’s not the most convenient spot. You kind of feel like having a car would make the whole thing way easier

I went in expecting a lot more for what they were charging, but the whole thing felt cheap. The set was super plain, the lighting was all over the place, and the sound kept getting weird in a few spots. For that ticket price, come on, don’t be such penny-pinching clowns.
The actors seemed like they were really trying, so I’ll give them that, but the staging did them zero favors. It just didn’t feel like a polished, professional show at all. More like some rushed school play put together by a bunch of amateurs who ran out of time and ideas.

I paid for seats that didn’t mention anything about the view being blocked, and then spent half the show trying to lean around people’s heads and a rail just to see what was happening. I missed some important parts of the stage, which was really annoying. Whoever runs this needs to be way more honest about these seats, because the night was not worth what I paid...

The site is easy to look through, and I didn’t have much trouble figuring out what shows were coming up. I like that they have a mix of newer plays and some more familiar names, because it makes it feel a little more balanced, even if I don’t always know what I’m looking for anyway.

For me, the lineup is kind of hit or miss. Some seasons I see a few things I’d actually want to go to, and other times nothing really grabs me, though I guess that could just be my taste. I do wish there was a bit more variety, but overall it’s still decent and I’d check back again...

I didn’t feel very welcome here. I asked one simple question and somehow it felt like I’d ruined everyone’s day, which was a fun little twist to the visit. Maybe the staff was just having an off day, but the whole thing felt uncomfortable and I left disappointed.

I signed up thinking the membership would either save me some money or make it easier to get to shows, it really didn’t end up doing much for me. The perks were underwhelming for the price, and I didn’t feel like I got enough value back. I doubt I’ll renew it.

I was hoping for a nice night out, but the place felt cramped and oddly cold the whole time. Not exactly the cozy vibe you’d expect, but I guess that’s one way to make an evening memorable.

I did end up getting my tickets, so there’s that, but the whole checkout process was irritating. The site kept loading slowly, and the extra fees only showed up near the end, which was a fun little surprise. It shouldn’t take that much effort just to buy tickets, but apparently here we are.

I didn’t enjoy my visit much. The seats felt really cramped, and the sound was uneven enough that it kept pulling me out of the experience. The staff seemed rushed, which I get happens, but it didn’t make things feel very welcoming. I also don’t have a ton of trust in customer service actually doing anything about it, so I didn’t bother making a big deal there. Overall, not somewhere I’d be excited to go back to

The show was fine, but the parking situation really took the fun out of the night. I ended up circling around way too long, paid more than seemed reasonable, and barely made it in on time. You’d think there would be a better setup for a crowd everyone knows is coming. it just wasn’t worth the hassle

My first reaction was that the lobby looked clean and well-kept, which was nice. But then I went to the bathroom during the show and was like, oof, this definitely needed more attention. Not a terrible experience overall, but that part could really be improved.

I appreciated that the seating and captions made the experience easier for me. The staff were helpful overall, but it did take them a little while to get things sorted. Not a huge issue, just something I noticed.

The ticket prices were actually decent, which I appreciated. A couple of the extra fees were a little annoying, but overall it wasn’t too bad and still felt like a fair deal.

I had mixed feelings about the acting. There were a few moments that seemed okay, but overall it felt a little flat and awkward to me, so I never really got pulled into it the way I hoped I would

I’m not sure why some people make a big deal about the seating, because I thought the seats were nicer than I expected. There was enough room, and I didn’t feel all cramped up or anything. My back did get a little stiff after a while, but that happens to me almost anywhere, so I wouldn’t really blame the seats too much. Overall, they were comfortable

I went to the show expecting a great experience, especially for what the tickets cost, but I felt misled. From our seats, we could barely hear a lot of the lines, and the sound kept getting louder and quieter randomly. Some of the voices were so muffled that it was hard to stay engaged with the play. It really pulled me out of the whole thing, and I left feeling like it didn’t match what was promised.
